Marie Bär - geb. Methfessel - wurde 1988 in Hamm geboren. Bereits vor ihrem erfolgreichen Studienabschluss zur Kunsttherapeutin trat sie mehrfach mit ihrem breiten künstlerischen Interesse in Erscheinung. Seit 2017 veröffentlicht die selbstständige Kreativberaterin ihre eigenen Märchen, welche Tradition und Moderne ausgewogen vereinen. Hierbei sind vor allem ihre liebevoll illustrierten Bilderbuchbände der Reihe „RieCa‘s Fairytales“ zu erwähnen, bei denen die vielseitige Künstlerin ihre Liebe zur Lyrik mit ihrer Hingabe in der Kunst verbindet.
